Connect With Our Staff
In addition to our volunteers, who embody the Society's mission, Saanich Volunteer Services Society operates its programming with a small team of paid staff. Our executive director, Carol Turnbull, pictured below, supports our crew. Staff guide our volunteers to ensure as many clients as possible are helped across our strategic areas of focus: food security, appointment driving, light housekeeping, friendship and community building along with referral based care. With these strategic directions, Saanich Volunteer Services Society means to safely maintain clients' capabilities to remain safely and independently housed.

Board
Board of Directors
The SVSS Volunteer Board works with our Executive Director to apply our strategic plan and to move Saanich Volunteer Services Society into the future with current philosophies and ideas which will manage, grow and improve our many services.
During 2024/2025, the Board oversaw increased client intakes and a growth in our volunteer population, while also witnessing a growth in programs for our clients.
