OUR MISSION
Saanich Volunteer Services Society (SVSS) promotes independent living and enhances the quality of life for Saanich residents by providing coordinated volunteer services and connection to community resources.
SVSS has provided one-to-one, direct volunteer services to Saanich residents over the age of 19 years for over 30 years. It is the strength of the partnership between our dedicated staff and passionate volunteers that truly fulfils our mission.

WHO WE SUPPORT
Our clients are all adults living independently within the Municipality of Saanich.
When the Municipality reviewed seniors' needs it found that accessing services and effective transportation options were real challenges.
Without the free, direct volunteer services we offer, more Saanich seniors would be isolated and lonely, or placed in a position of choosing to drive when they shouldn’t be driving.
In providing these services, Saanich Volunteer Services contributes directly to the health and well-being of our home community.
