Jane is honoured to support SVSS by serving as Vice President on the Board of Directors and on the Volunteer Advisory Council.
Jane has 25 years' experience working for non-profit organizations and post-secondary educational institutions in Edmonton. She has served as executive director, fundraiser, special events planner, and volunteer manager at a local, provincial and federal level. As capital campaign director, Jane raised $20.0M for a multi-court sport facility and lead a $14.0M capital campaign toward the building of a humane society. She has
served as volunteer on several non-profit boards and has taught board governance through a local college.
Jane and her husband Greg moved from Edmonton to Victoria in 2015 to be closer to extended family and to enjoy all that Vancouver Island has to offer. Her happiest times are spent exploring the Island, traveling overseas, reading, and hiking the beautiful Saanich area parks with her dogs, Huxley and Lily.
