Sue has been a volunteer at SVSS for 3 years. She is the volunteer who facilitates the very successful weekly grocery shopping bus trips SVSS provides for our senior clients.
Due to COVID-19, the trips are cancelled but that has not stopped Sue. She continues to connect by phone with the seniors from the grocery shopping bus and even does grocery shopping for some.
“For some people volunteering is about giving but for the likes of Sue it is a way of living.”
