For the month of October, we will be hosting an online silent auction. Starting Oct 1, you will be able to head to our website and bid on incredible items from our local community, including original artwork from Pene Horton.

You will be able to bid right until our AGM on October 26, where we will serve refreshments and announce our winners. Join us that day - you won't want to miss the festivities.

At our AGM, join us for a chat with guest speaker will be Sally Horton, daughter of artist Pene Horton.

Pene Horton passed away last year, and her family donated some of her artwork to SVSS. Over the years we have enjoyed having Pene Horton paintings adorning the walls of McRae House.

Pene Horton was a remarkable lady, and her paintings are her legacy. As a tribute and aligned with our 30th anniversary celebration, we are going to have a 30-day online fundraising auction.

The donated Pene Horton paintings will be an auction category and on display at the AGM.
