We at Saanich Volunteer Services Society will close on September 30, 2025 to commemorate, honour and celebrate individuals of the First Nations, Inuit and Metis communities.

Maybe you'll be heading to the Historical Saanich fair to see the animals or, horrors, line up for some fairground rides. Maybe you're going to have a potluck, or walk on a beach, or watch that TV program you've been saving. Whatever you do, let's thank all the workers' who sacrificed historically, and still work hard today, to achieve worker rights like the 8 hour work day, safety in our workplaces and, minimum wages!
